History

Pioneer has spent the past 40 years assisting people with disabilities in reaching their full potential. We've also provided prompt, reliable, accurate production services to industry.

Pioneer Vocational/Industrial Services was established in 1967 and began operations in the spring of 1969. It operated under the name Pioneer Opportunity Workshop, but the name was changed in 1983 to more accurately reflect its mission.

In early 2007, Pioneer moved locations to a new facility on Corporate Drive, adjacent to Danville's Industrial Park. Our new location provides a larger production area and easy accessibility to the 150-Bypass.

Pioneer is proud to serve the people of central Kentucky and businesses worldwide. We look forward to the next 40 years.
