Pioneer's Mission Statement

To provide vocational development and extended employment programs to people who are disabled and/or disadvantaged to assist them in obtaining employment and maximizing independent living skills.

Non-profit Status

Pioneer Vocational Industrial Services, a non-profit organization, provides programs of vocational evaluation and community employment and operates in a manner that upholds the dignity of all individuals without regard to race, religion, creed, national origin, social status, or physical limitation.

Bluegrass Mental Health

Pioneer is affiliated with Bluegrass Regional Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board and serves a 7-county area in Central Kentucky. Pioneer's Production Services component is independent of any government funding.
